Adel al Hasson & Associates is a leading audit and accounting firm in Iraq established in 1991. It is led by the Chairman of the Iraqi Association of Certified Accountants, Dr. Adel al Hasson. Dr. Adel is the Dean and head of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Dr. Adel has authored three books and multiple research and policy papers on accounting systems published in Arabic in international professional periodicals. He has served as an Iraq representative on UN bodies including the International Advisory and Monitoring Board (IAMB) and is currently a member of the Committee of Financial Experts (COFE) supervising the Development Fund of Iraq.
